What is Skincerity? Why is it different from other products?
Skincerity Nightly Breathable Masque is a revolutionary safe, breathable mask that holds in the skin's natural moisture and amplifies your favorite personal products. It is applied at night before you go to sleep. The ultra-thin, breathable mask is not absorbed like creams or foams. Skincerity is also a delivery system for key rejuvenating antioxidants - Vitamin E, Grape Seed Oil, Lavender and Lavandox - that absorb into the skin.
I've tried everything. How do I know if Skincerity will work for me?
Around the world, thousands of people have used Skincerity. Skincerity is dermatologist tested and recommended. Skincerity has been clinically tested on real patients and has demonstrated proven results. Quantitative results from clinical trials performed at the University of Texas Health Science Center indicated 67% of all people using Skincerity experienced an average reduction in the appearance of wrinkles by 39%, with some improving as much as 200%. Many users report dramatic results in days.
When should I expect to notice results from using Skincerity?
Many Skincerity users report better skin tone in 1 to 2 days! However, the length of time for improvement will vary among users depending upon the condition of the skin prior to using Skincerity. Most users will begin to see and feel results within the first week of usage. With continued use, most users report an improvement in dullness, tone, texture, dryness, age spots, and in the appearance of pore size, fine lines and wrinkles.
How do I use Skincerity?
First, it’s important to wash skin to remove makeup, dirt and debris before applying Skincerity. Next, roll on a thin but uniform layer nightly at bedtime and let dry. In the morning, remove the film. When first using Skincerity, you should apply the product every night for a minimum of two weeks. This will maximize the rejuvenation of dry, damaged skin and accelerate your results. After the initial two weeks, we recommend using Skincerity at least four times a week. However, most users continue to apply Skincerity daily as a part of their nighttime regimen.
Where can I apply Skincerity?
Using the unique roller ball bottle, you can apply Skincerity to areas of the skin that are dry, sun damaged or wrinkled such as the face, neck, chest, feet, heels, elbows, knees, and hands. Skincerity is applied before bedtime. Simply roll it on and go to sleep – nothing to touch or massage into the skin. It’s that easy!
How does Skincerity work?
Skincerity is applied as a liquid and quickly dries to form a thin, flexible Breathable Barrier™ that will 1) retain your body’s natural moisture and rehydrate your skin while you sleep, and 2) prevent the loss of the body’s natural moisture that happens mostly at night (TEWL – Transepidermal
water loss). Beneath the breathable mask, Skincerity releases the proven and powerful antioxidants Vitamin E, Grape Seed Oil, Lavender, or Lavandox (depending on the product) to rejuvenate the appearance of the skin. Your complexion will look brighter, more luminous, the appearance of fine lines will be reduced and your skin will feel velvety smooth.
Why the roller ball applicator?
Skincerity is a unique liquid that flash dries to form a film directly on your skin; it is not a water-based product. Creams and lotions contain high concentrations of water, and water can be drying as it slowly evaporates, actually removing moisture from the skin’s surface. The rollerball applicator allows you to quickly apply Skincerity directly to your skin with no mess in a few seconds. Skincerity doesn’t come in contact with your fingers minimizing contamination and it self-cleans as the ball rolls new product from inside the bottle.
Why does the mask stick to the rollerball after using?
Skincerity doesn’t just dry quickly on your skin, it dries on the rollerball as well. The residual liquid will evaporate and the leftover mask can cause the ball to stick. Actually, the small seal that forms between the edge of the rollerball and its housing helps prevent evaporation of the bottle contents and helps prevent contamination.
What’s the best way to get the rollerball rolling again?
There are a few tricks to help get the rollerball moving again when you’re ready to use it. First, invert the bottle so that the liquid is touching the rollerball and with your thumb, firmly push the ball around to loosen it. The liquid inside the bottle will act as a lubricant to help it move. It may also help to peel off any Skincerity mask that is dried on the ball as well. You can also try storing Skincerity on its side – the constant contact of the liquid inside the bottle and the rollerball will help get things moving.
Do I have to change my current regimen?
No. You simply roll Skincerity on last and allow the product to flash dry in seconds and go to bed.
Can I use Skincerity with my other favorite products?
Yes. While Skincerity offers a unique powerhouse formula in a single product, the Breathable Barrier™ technology enhances the benefits of other products in your regiment by helping keep those products on the skin throughout the night. In essence, by allowing your favorite products to stay on the skin longer, Skincerity makes your favorite products work better! Simply apply your favorite products and let them dry or “firm” before rolling on Skincerity last. Users with sensitive skin should avoid using Skincerity over glycolic, salicylic, and/or retinoid products to avoid redness or irritation. How do I remove Skincerity?
In the morning you may notice Skincerity has already begun to “lift” and peel. As the skin hydrates, Skincerity will lift, appearing somewhat like skin peeling after a sunburn. Simply remove Skincerity by completely peeling off the mask or by gently massaging the skin’s surface with damp hands, warm water, soap or lotion to remove remaining film. When removing Skincerity, you will be providing a gentle exfoliation that helps slough off dead skin cells and impurities to reveal newer, younger-looking cells. (It is recommended to not wash the entire peeled mask down the drain as it could result in some blockage depending on plumbing and condition of pipes.)
What if Skincerity “clings” to my skin in the morning?
Skincerity is intelligent! The mask will cling to excessively dry or damaged skin until the skin has sufficient moisture and is restored to a healthier state. The Skincerity “cling” is part of the process of hydrating your skin. Until hydration is restored, applying a little moisturizer in the evening underneath Skincerity will help the mask remove more easily in the morning. With continued use, dryness should disappear and Skincerity will come off more easily.
Additional tip if you’re having trouble removing the mask – try rolling Skincerity on a little thicker.
How does Skincerity work like your skin?
Skincerity contains a patented formula that when applied, resembles an extra, invisible layer of skin in the way it keeps your own body’s moisture in, keeps external irritants out, and is breathable. In this way, Skincerity creates a sealed, yet breathable environment for your skin to retain its own natural moisture and receive antioxidants for many hours while you sleep. It works like a second skin.
Skincerity has acetone as an ingredient. Will it dry or damage my skin?
Absolutely not. The Skincerity acetone (2-Propanone) is non-toxic and does not dry the skin. The ingredients used in Skincerity are of the same purity and quality as used in dermatology practices. With regards to acetone, it is a cleansing and tightening agent (similar to alcohol in cosmetic Toners) that is on the skin for only 2-4 seconds. The acetone does not remain in contact with the skin, but you will notice the strong acetone smell as you first apply the product – it is perfectly safe to breathe the minute exposure to the evaporating acetone.
The acetone serves three key purposes in Skincerity -
1) Prepares, cleans, and turns the liquid into a mask when the liquid is rolled on.
2) Keeps bacteria from growing in the bottle - the roller ball rotates on the skin and back into the bottle.
3) Evaporates in 2-4 seconds creating small, skin-healthy micro-porous breathing holes in the film allowing oxygen to flow through the mask.
Once the liquid has turned into the breathable barrier film (2-4 seconds), the Skincerity acetone has already evaporated off the skin. The core technology, developed with National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding, harnesses the "magic of acetone" by using this dermatology cleansing agent to help produce hydrated, healthy, and younger-looking skin.
The Skincerity mask is made of polymers. What is a polymer and are they safe?
The Skincerity mask is made of polymers that lie ON TOP of the skin. They are not absorbed into the skin nor penetrate the skin. Polymers, both natural and manmade, are a collection of same type of molecules that bond together. The Skincerity polymers are safe and made of calcium fluoride – a very inactive fluoropolymer that is approved for use by the FDA for food contact, even for contact with liquids and alcohol.
What type of fragrance is used in Skincerity?
Skincerity is available in the original fresh apple scent, lavender, and neutral. Our fragrances are RIFM (Research Institute of Fragrance Materials) approved, which means these fragrances are unlikely to irritate the skin.
Is Skincerity safe for all ethnicities and skin types?
Yes. All skin types and ethnicities have enjoyed success with Skincerity.
What testing has been done on Skincerity?
Skincerity has been proven safe and non-irritating to the skin using standard FDA recommended tests as defined by United States Department of Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration, and Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). Skincerity is Cruelty Free and has not been tested on animals.
Is Skincerity FDA approved!

The FDA has guidelines for cosmetic skin care products and their safety. Skincerity is a cosmetic product that follows and meets or exceeds those guidelines.
